A simple randomiser for when I cannot decide which character to play as in the game LEGO Dimensions
LEGO Dimensions is a Toys to Life game released in 2015, It features 30 franchises and many characters and vehicles from each. The game is played with physical LEGO Figures and builds representing characters and vehicles in the game, these are then placed on a pad reading NFC tags in a base to bring them up in the game. After the story is complete the game allows players to explore worlds for each of these franchises
With so many worlds and characters to choose from I often stuggled to decide which ones to pick each time I started up the game, this simple randomiser makes that decision for me.
It first selects one of the 30 franchises in the game to denote the world that I intend to explore that day
Since entering a world in the game requires a character from that world on the toy pad it then limits its decision of the first character to
one from that chosen world, for example if Back to the Future was chosen the first character would be either of Marty Mcfly or Doc Brown.
After this it picks two more random figures making sure to not have a repeat and a vehicle.
